15th of August 2015

Waking up at 2:45 am my day started very early. One hour later my taxi came, dressed in a very fancy looking smoking, and drove me to Gatwick Airport. I was quite early at the airport, so I waited for about two hours to finally get in to the plan and fligh back to Hamburg. After an one and a half hour flight my family and my boyfriend welcomed me back home in Hamburg.

Today was my last school day and nothing too exciting happened, except from taking a photo from my hole class after the second lesson. During the big break I went out to Buongiorno e Buonasera at Glocouster Green Square to have a Pizza Magharitha for the last time. I went there with the German and Greek girl and they accompannied me to Coverd Market afterwards. Arriving there, I got a chocolate chip cookie milkshake at moo moo's. After finishing my last lesson, I said goodbye to all my classmates and friends. Unfortunatly, I had to leave straight after school because I had to pack and go to bed earlier because my taxi to the airport would already fetch me at 03:45 am. Thus, my day ended soon.

13th of August 2015

Today was a cloudy day again and in school nothing exciting happened. In the big break I went to the Covered Market with the Greek and German girl, because the Greek wanted to buy two cookies at Ben's Cookies and a milkshake from Moo Moos again. Before, we went to Sainsbruy and Tesco where I got my pasta salad again and chocolat cookies, After school I went straight back home because I wanted to start packing. It is very diffecult when you came with two hand luggages and a suitcase of 23kg but only being allowed to take one hand luggage and a suitcase of 20kg with you on the way back. I still have to balance everything out and have to try to out all the heavy and small things into my hand luggage. After packing I went to the pub called The Kings Arms, where I had been 2 weeks ago as well, only to realize that I was one hour too early. Thus, I went to Tesco and had a stroll around town. Nevertheless, pub nigt was very nice again and I sat together with Germans, Swiss, Italians, Spanishs and the Greek girl.

12th of August 2015

Today the wather was pretty okay again. In the morning it was still cold and grey but in the process of the day it changed to a sunny day. In the big break I went to the Gloucester Green Market, which is next to the cinema, I went to yesterday. It is open on Wednesday, Tursday and Saturday and you can find so many different things there. From Asian food to fruits and vegetables to secondhand book stands. The German girl got a burrito and I bought steamed rice with chicken curry, which we ate back in school, because there were no free seating possibilities near the market. The last lesson was pretty boring again because we had the theacher who always chooses the most boring topics to talk about and this for 100 minutes without a break. This time, he picked Vincent van Gogh and made us sing a horrible song about him. After school the Greek and German girl and I went to the Covered Market, where the Greek girl wanted to buy a milkshake from Moo Moo's. I will go there on Friday and have a chocolat chip cookie milkshake and a cookie from Ben's cookies nextdoor. Going to Superdry afterwards, I bought another grey top. After having dinner at home, there was a beautiful sunset outside my window.

11th of August 2015

Today it was cloudy and cold again. During the lessons nothing exciting happened aside from the fact that the new students had their first day. In my class there are only two more girls, one of them is from Germany and the other one is from Italy or Spain I guess, In the break I went to Tesco again to buy pasta salad and a bap with the German girl, In my afternoon class we are only 4 students, who are not German-speaking. We were devided into groups and had to plan a world trip. We had to decide who we want to takes with us, where we want to go and what we would like to do there. It was very funny because I was in the group with the Italian boy, who I went to Brighton with and he is just so funny. In our group there was also another guy from Germany. After school the Greek and German girl and I went to the cinema next to our school where we watched Inside Out. The film was very funny and it was easy to understand so we had blast, After the movie I went back home.

10th of August 2015

This day I woke up to the cloudy, grey sky of Oxford. This is something I don't like about the country. One day it is the most beautiful weather outside and the next day there is rain so you never get a long period of nice weather here. It just switches between these two in the summer as far as I can tell. During my morning lesson it rained a bit but around lunchtime the weather got better for the rest of the day and it got warmer. I had lunch with the German girl and a Greek girl, coming from my class as well, at Pret à Manger, where I got my avocado sandwoch again. After school I went straight back to my accomodation to have dinner and take a shower, because I had to leave the house again at 10 to 7 to catch my bus for the city center. After waiting 20 minutes for the bus, I arrived late at Carfax Tower where the Geman, Chinese and Greek girl with her brother had already waited for me. We than rushed to Trinity College, because we wanted to join a ghost tour around Oxford. Fortunately, we just arrived as they wanted to leave so our journey was not pointless. Our guide told us some stories, we did not believe in and gave us a small tour around the most famous landmarks of the city. His stories were really not scary and sometimes it was hard to follow him. Thus, none of us really enjoyed the trip. After the that we went to Tesco again, where I got myself a snack. The Greek girl with her brother and I then said goodbye to the others and we drove back home together.

9th of August 2015

Today I had to wake up at half past six in the morning to catch my bus to the city center very early, because I had booked a trip to Portsmouth and Brighton. The weather was so good today that I applied suncream today. The coach to Portsmouth left at 8:15am and after a long trip we arrived at the harbour. Our guide gave us a little tour to the old ships and we went to a ship museum for a short time. After that, we had 1 hour freetime. An Italian, Saudi-Arabian boy from my school and I went to a commercial center next to the water. They went to Café Nero to buy Coffee and after that we went back to look down the water to the ships. I did not really like the city because the only beautiful or interesting thing we saw was the water with all its boats. We sat down for a while at the harbour and went back to our bus. This time, we had a different bus, because the others had left with the first one to a different city. Only the people who wanted to go to Brighton had one hour more freetime than the others. We then drove off and the journey took longer than expected because we were stuck in traffic jam for some time. But as we arrived I was looking so much forward to go to the sea and see the city. Our guide gave us a brief tour around the different neighborhoods and on the way there were so many different impressions to find. We saw  many graffitis and a famous one from Banksy. Brighton is such a creative and interesting city to me with its little side roads and cute cafés and shops. In many of them are hanging colorful garlands and there is alot of hustle & bustle going on. The guide did also show a famous church to us whose architecture is influenced by India, China and Europe. We went further through the city towards the beach where he left us and told us to be back at the coach at 5 o'clock. The two boys and I went down to the beach which is covered in pebbles and sat down for a while. As the Italian boy went to the water to put his feet in it, he met a girl from his hometown. We met her and she came with us for the rest of the day, We walked back to the pier where we wanted to have some fish & chips. Waiting for 10 minutes, the customers before us got the last fish and so I did not want to buy anything else there. The other boys bought clamaris and some other type of fish instead. Because I wanted to see the Bathing Boxes of Brighton, we tried to find them and walked along the pier until we found them. They are tiny little houses, which you can rent and use for having a nice afternoon at the beach. Many people have colored them in all different colors. After we saw them, it was time to get back to the train station where we could meet our guide again, We said goodbye to the Italian girl and got on the bus coach again. We drove to a car park next to a motorway where we had to change the bus with the others, who went to the other city after Portsmouth. Arriving in Oxford, I went to an Asian take away where I got steammed rice with vegetables and cashew nuts, I was accompanied by the Italian girl and after I got my dinner I went back home on my own.
