21st of July 2015

Today was my first actual school day, But before that I met with the Swiss girl and two Russian boys. On my way there I took a couple of photos of the city center, like the mall in which my school is or other house impressions. We wanted to get traditional porridge, which arrived too late so we had to take it with us to school. The first three classes dealt with businesses and economics, which was very difficult to understand, because there were so many unkown words in the texts and tasks. Moreover, the teacher rushes through the lesson like a fool! Thus, it was very hard for me to follow the lesson. In the first break I went to a coffee shop with some other students to grab some drinks. They are all not from my class. The second break is always too short to go outside and during the third break I met up with 3 Italian girls and sat down with them as they were buying their lunch. The third class was very nice, because we played scribble today. My last lesson is much better and I think it will be something to look forward to every day, because this class only deals with making me fluent in speaking English and not about specific topics. After that I was free for the rest of day an so I met up with the Italian girls again. We had tiramisu in an Italian restaurant and went all around Oxford the following time. I also got to know a couple of differences from Germany today e.g., people queue for the bus or they don't have and deposit on bottles!
