Today we had such a sunny and hot day in Oxford. Nevertheless, my teacher Ian got a cold and left school after the second lesson so I was put in the IELTS preparation class for the third lesson. In the big break I went out for lunch with my Korean and German friend to a Brasilian restaurant next to our school. Me and the German girl had rice with curry chicken and a bit of salad and the Korean guy had rice with potato and something like that. We skipped the last lesson because our school offered a punting trip on the river Cherwell. Because it was the German girl's last day we have been planning this trip for the whole week and were so happy to have such a sunny day for it. Actually, most people I got friends with left today like the three Italian girls so this was very sad. But punting was so much fun. We went there with a British guy that accompanies every trip, a Japanese and a German boy. The German boy did not manage to drive us safely and we crashed into the banks alternately to make headway. I was scared to death because I did not want my camera or phone to fall in. For the last 20 minutes the Japanese boy drove us back and he had done this before so it was much more pleasant. The German girl and I then went back to the city center where she wanted to buy some postcards and we had an ice cream. After that I drove back home and met the two Chinese girls on the bus, who live with me. At nine o'clock I met the German girl again and we met loads of other students from our school in the "Head over the river" pub, because many left and some new arrived. They all celebrated together. We had a nice time this evening and I am sad that the nicest people I've met here have left,..
