8th of August 2015

This morning I had breakfast at mortons again, because this would be my last chance to have porridge. I went there with the German girl at 9:30am becuase I recommanded her the porridge so she wanted to give it a try. We wanted to meet up with the Italian, Japanese and 3 Spanish people at 10am but the German girls' bus was late and the porrdige took a bit too long to arrive, so we came too late to Carfax Tower, where we wanted to meet them. Luckily, they weren't mad at us. Firstly. we visited the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, which also includes the Pitt Rivers Museum. Moreover, both are free! The exhibition Museum of Natural History was my favorite one, because there were so many animals as skeleton, e.g. dinosaurs! It was breathtaking to look up to these big, big creatures, Something I found very sweet, was that they recreated Alice in Wonderland with padded animal such as the mad hatter or a tiny little flamingo. Moreover, they added the matching illustrations and quotes from the book to them. The selection of butterflies, and cristals was amazing too. I did not really like the Pitt Rivers Museum, because there were too many exhibition glas boxes stuffed with just too many items. The purpose of this museum was to show cultural differences between countries from all over the world. But being overpowered negativily by all these little items, it was just tiring. After the museum we wanted to visit one of the colleges of Oxford but the one we wanted to go to was already closed. We then went to St. Annes College, which is one of the more modern colleges, There was nothing much to see so we left soon again. Nevertheless, I can imagine to study in one of these colleges one day, because they have beautiful gardens with flowers and big green lawn spaces next to the student's accommodations. After that we went back into the city center to buy lunch at Tesco. As usualy, I had my pasta salad and a bap with it this time, We did not eat it right away because the Japanese and Italian girl met up with a Chinese girl, who left today, at Gloucester Green Bus Station. Because today was fathers day in China, she wanted us to say "happy fathers day" in our and her language to make a video out of it, After we said goodbye to her, we sat down next to the "park" at our school to have lunch there, At 2 o'clock we left again, without the three Spanish guys, to go to Wadham College, where we watched the play "twelfth night" from Shakespear, The play was set in the colleges garden, which was perfect, because it was such a lovely and sunny day, At the college we met up with 4 other students from our school. Fortunaltely, the German girl told me what the play would be about when we had breakfast together, otherwise I wouldn't have understood anything. Still, it was hard to get each and every joke but I could follow the main story easily. I never thought that the Shakespear play included so much comedy and jokes and I had expected it to be more serious but I really enjoyed watching it. The actors were so talented and there was also a lot of life music from them. After the play the German, Italian, Japanese girl and I went to Tesco again and I bought some "cookies" for the journey tomorrow, a mango and orangejuice. After we had left the grocery store, I showed the others the ice cream shop next to my bus stop. When they bought their ice cream, I had to leave because my bus arrived,
